Profiles of the Past

Over the last eight months, with sponsorship from the University of Brighton Alumni Association,  we have been delighted to collaborate with faculty and students from the School of Humanities, University of Brighton 'Silhouette Research Group',  as they have undertaken a research project about the material culture of silhouettes and related dress history.

Introduced by Nick Tyson, Lou Taylor, Annebella Pollen and Charlotte Nicklas, the afternoon saw the launch of the publication produced for the project by the Silhouette Research Group. For more details from the day see the event timetable.
