Help Us to Recruit New Volunteers!

It would be wonderful if you could tell family and friends about what we are doing at The Regency Town House because we need more volunteers, especially for our Events Team.

In my occasional role as Mrs Ainsley, housekeeper and sniffer-outer of unbecoming behaviour amongst the servants, I can tell you there’s no such thing as the perfect volunteer.

We come in all shapes, sizes and with an incredible variety of skills, but for the Events Team we are especially keen to meet people who organising things, can help to carry chairs up and down stairs and are keen to hatch new ideas of their own.

We also like volunteers to spend most Thursdays with us, although we know life can get in the way. They will be paid with experiences they’ll never forget and a good serving of laughter.

Do you know anyone who loves history, has a good sense of humour and wants to make a practical contribution towards maintaining Brighton’s Regency heritage?

They can email office@rth.org.uk or phone 01273 206306 and we will arrange a time to meet Gilly Burton, our volunteer co-ordinator who gives prospective volunteers a tour of the building and a clear idea of what to expect.
