Description
Discover this ancient downland farm that was once owned by the Knights Templar. Enjoy tours of the 17th century Threshing Barn, Tudor Scullery and Donkey Wheel. 

New for 2015, be the first visitors to the brand new Saddlescombe Learning Space which will house the Saddlescombe archaeological collection donated by the Brighton Museum. 

You can also venture further afield for tours on surrounding Newtimber Hill, considered one of the best downland sites in the country.

Refreshments at the wonderful Hiker's Rest cafe.

Access
No booking required. Limited wheelchair access in buildings. Some tracks around the farm are challenging but should be manageable with the warden's assistance. Disabled toilet available at the Farm.

Directions
By road: Follow signs on the day: Signposted on A281 near the Rushfield Plant Centre. From A27, head north towards Devil's Dyke but stay to the right as the road forks, the farm is then approximately 1 mile. Parking £2. Please follow signs near Devil's Dyke. Limited free car parks at Summerdown Road OS: TQ269112, 5-10 minutes walk from the Farm. Map link.
