Culture Geeks is a community based in Brighton and open to everyone who is interested in using digital technologies in and for the cultural sector.
Our next free-to-attend event will be held on September, 24, 2008 at 7.30pm and will start with a talk followed by socialising.
Talk: "3D Virtual Reality Technology for Cultural Heritage: More than computer games"
Karina Rodriguez Echavarria, Research Fellow, University of Brighton will discuss on ways in whichD Virtual Reality technology can contribute to the heritage sector as well as support
and challenge visitors' interpretation of the heritage displayed in
museums and cultural sites.
