BHOD 13 - Preston Pump House and Other Outdoor Curiosities

Description - Join us for an outdoor tour of the curios to be found in the gardens and grounds at Preston Manor. Hear the chilling tale of the 1831 Brighton ‘Trunk Murder' and visit the associated grave site in St Peter's churchyard. Dogs welcome.

Location - Preston Manor Gardens, Preston Drove, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, BN1 6SD

Timing - Friday 13 September: Tours 1100-1230

Restrictions - The event isn’t really suitable for young children as the murder story is quite gruesome although, in the past, older children have attended (12+) . There are no toilets or tearooms (although these are available close by in Preston Park). There is free parking outside the Manor and the tour is partly wheelchair accessible (photos available of inaccessible features of interest).

Access - Partial wheelchair access. Disabled parking on-site. Baby changing / breast feeding area.
