Further information about giving

If you would like to discuss making a Gift-Aid donation or any other tax-effective form of support, such as Payroll Giving, Share Giving or Gifting Land or Property, please call the Curator on 01273 206306 (00441273 206306 from abroad) or email nick@rth.org.uk.

Legacies

You can support the Regency Town House by making a bequest in your will. You might choose to assist us by leaving an object, a cash sum or a financial instrument. A charitable legacy is paid before tax is deducted from your estate, so a bequest often reduces the amount of inheritance tax due. Your lawyer or solicitor, can provide you with information as to how a charitable legacy can be incorporated within your will but a typical clause might read as follows:

" I GIVE to the The Brunswick Town Charitable Trust (UK registered Charity number 1012216) the sum of (£______) for the development of Regency Town House AND I DECLARE that the receipt in writing of the Treasurer or other proper officer of that Charity shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors"
