Covid-19 guidelines, Autumn 2021

updated 13th October, 2021

To make the Town House as safe as possible for our visitors, staff and volunteers we have decided to keep some measures in place.

BE SAFE - if you or a member of your household have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms within the past 14 days, DO NOT VISIT THE TOWN HOUSE.

During your visit

  • Maintain a safe distance from others.
  • Continue to wear a face mask to keep staff and visitors safe.
  • Use the hand sanitizer available in key locations.
  • Observe safe room limits.
  • Register your visit with NHS Test and Trace by scanning the QR code in the lobby or by entering your details in the visitor book. If you have booked a ticket in advance and your details are up to date, you won’t need to check in again.

What we have done

  • Capacity levels will be managed.
  • Enhanced cleaning will continue.
  • Signage will remain in place to support social distancing.
  • Visitor capacity has been reduced to enable social distancing.

In addition, for ticketed events…

  • Book your ticket before you arrive.
  • You may be required to queue for a short period to ensure social distancing.

In addition, for volunteers…

  • Use the hand sanitization stations.
  • Leave your contact details for NHS test and trace.
  • Maintain a safe distance from visitors and staff.
  • Keep meeting rooms well ventilated.
  • Sanitize your workspace and equipment when you leave.
  • Do not share equipment.
  • Observe safe room limits.
  • Work from home where possible!
