On the Saturday of Heritage Open Day's, Blind Veterans UK will be staging a Vintage Carnival on the grounds which will be formally opened at 11:30 am by newly appointed Chief Executive of Brighton and Hove Albion FC, Paul Barber, followed by a performance from the football team's cheerleaders, Gully Girls! Visitors will be able to enjoy a fantastic variety of dance, music and other entertainment including old fashioned fairground games, sports events organised by the charity’s own Sports Team, and a Dog Show. The Blind Veterans UK Awareness marquee will give a flavour of what facilities, nursing treatment, and training we provide to our vision impaired ex-servicemen and women to help them regain their independence or improve their quality of life.
